Ross is an experienced marketing director helping businesses formulate and execute marketing strategies for profitable revenue growth. He offers shrewd commercial intelligence together with distinctive marketing expertise, resulting in the delivery of incisive marketing strategies.
Skilled in strategic marketing, Ross was an integral member of the senior management team, which delivered the business plan that restored Northgate plc to profitability in 2010.
This involved consolidating 20 local hire firms operating independently into a nationally recognised single brand, with a much strengthened market position.
Previously at Vantis plc, he helped put in place the marketing strategies that increased revenues from £30M to £87M in less than 3 years.
Ross was appointed Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2006 (FCIM) and has completed management development programmes at Ashridge and Henley Business Schools, which have aided the scope and depth of his knowledege into social media and their use within the automitive sector.
Malcolm is an experienced automotive consultancy director with an international background in vehicle manufacturer retail distribution strategies.
He has successfully implemented several network business process re-engineering programmes over a 15 year period.
Malcolm started as a graduate trainee with a major motor group and created and headed the Group Fleet Sales Operation.
In the mid-eighties, Malcolm went on to head up the Rover Group European Fleet Sales and Used Car operations, neatly linking fleet supply to used car demand to stabilise residual values.
In the early nineties, he was head-hunted by the much-respected automotive consultants, Mitac, to develop new business and, as Director - Retail Distribution Services, established a major presence in Germany with a retailer change management programme for Audi and, later, extended this programme globally.
Malcolm created an international team of business development specialists to plan, measure and improve retailer network efficiency and performance in 25 countries.
Peter has been involved on the financial services part of the automotive industry since 1985 firstly within the strategy team with Lloyds Bowmaker.
After undertaking a number of other strategic projects Peter’s growing interest in marketing led him to join the motorcycle point-of-sale finance business (then called RIGP, now Black Horse Motorcycle Finance), where his leadership qualities were recognised with a promotion to the board as Marketing Director.
Following the merger of Lloyds Bank and TSB Peter moved to Scotland as Head of Product Development, and following the acquisition of Chartered Trust by Lloyds TSB in 2001 he joined the Board of the newly formed Lloyds TSB Autolease business, covering all aspects of marketing.
Having left Lloyds TSB at the end of 2009 Peter joined apd as an Associate Director to assist clients on fleet consultancy and the development of market leading customer performance measurement and profit improvement programmes.
A passionate runner and cyclist, Peter is without doubt the fittest person in apd.
